Utah Lacrosse to Open Inaugural Season at Rice-Eccles Stadium

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah lacrosse team completes a two-year process transitioning from a club sport to an NCAA sport with its inaugural season in 2019, opening its season against Vermont on Friday, Feb. 1, in Rice-Eccles Stadium.

 

Season and single game tickets are on sale now. We will be giving away interlocking U blankets to the first 300 fans as well as inaugural season patches, team posters and schedule magnets as well as hot chocolate vouchers (400).

 

Food trucks will be parked on the concourse. Merchandise will be on sale. A live red-tailed hawk will be available. Fan activities include a face painter and balloon artist.

 

Utah’s clear bag policy will be in effect and lacrosse equipment will not be allowed. There is no charge for parking. Fans are welcome to tailgate in the lot on Guardsman Way.

 

Arrive early to witness the ceremonial first goal.
